Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor, and activist. Her parents were Jewish parents in the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she moved to the United States. In AT&T commercials on television she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into until 2020. Apart from her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being cast as Squirrel Girl in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. Her parents and her left antisemitism at two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to financial hardships within her family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She earned the GED and then obtained an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
